Mar 10 (Wed 7 AM) - We have a fading 2.3 foot 11-sec period swell for this AM. It might get you up on a longboard at the right spots, but water is cold and it won't last much longer. The outlook for the coming week is not very good - perhaps some rideable SE wind ripples with brisk S to SE winds Thurs PM and Friday, but just about flat for the weekend with off-shore winds and no appreciable swell.
CONGRATULATIONS TO NIKKI VIESINS! - Nikki took two girls titles home Sunday at the Hurley Surfing America Prime Amateur contest: under 18 and under 16.
