July 29 (Thurs) - We will have a very small (1.5 feet) swell trickling in for the next few days. But that just isn't going to do much for us. Early data hints at a small picup next Wed and also indicates we may be seeing a twister blewing out there towards the end of next week. But don't wax your boards just yet.
Local Corner - A charity event called Stand Up for The Gulf will be held this Saturday, July 31st, at Lori Wilson Park (north) in Cocoa Beach. The paddle event starts at 9 AM, and is free to all participants. Other events through the day include a bible study and a free yoga session. Bring your surfboard, SUP, or kayak to participate in the 3 mile paddle and help raise awareness about the Gulf Oil Spill disaster.
